Discovery is a comprehensive student information and management
system. Discovery is a fully featured product that maintains a centralized
Microsoft SQL database to delivers district-wide student record
management. The data for each school is owned and updated specifically
within each building, but the data is held centrally in composite
form. The data is available in real time and can be easily aggregated
for district-wide reporting. Discover provides efficiency, flexibility,
and ease of use. The Discovery Student Administrative System will
allow:
- Total management and reporting of student records, including
demographics, discipline, attendance, medical, and many other
areas.
- The entry of attendance, grades, progress codes, and other
data via the Internet
- A fully integrated Grade book and Parent Portal
- Complete access to student records by all qualified administrators
including counselors, and office users in each building
- Comprehensive security, enabling all users to be limited in
their ability to view, change, and store information
- The ability to preserve and report on special education information
- The ability to generate reports at all levels - building,
district, board, and state
