Overview |
The APECS.net Higher Education Student system was created to serve
the needs of institutions that require a fully integrated, web based
student system. Built on Microsoft .Net technology the APECS Student
system provides institutions to easily enter, view and report on
the necessary information. Today's colleges and university are driven
by data and APECS provides administrators the proper information
to make informed decisions. It allows instructors input and access
to information in an easy to use and intuitive program. Students
have the ability to access information regarding their grades and
academic history, view and print a degree audit, view and make payment
to their account plus register for classes and enter their initial
application all via the Internet. Key features include the following:

centralized SQL Server database providing fully integrated modules
- Industry-standard browser access to all online processes
- Highly intuitive online process interface, with point-and-click
navigation
- Intuitive application of security concepts to permit local
definition of job and workgroup responsibilities with appropriate
security and flexibility.

the retention of student ID from module to module.

| STUDENT PROFILIE AND ADMISSIONS |
The Student Profile module is the entry point for the student.
It provides automatic assignment of a student ID and PIN. Information
in the Student Profile includes:
- Student Primary/Additional Information
o First use address, phones and email
o Basic profile information such as sex, birthdate, ethnic,
SSN, special needs, FERPA, etc
- Contacts
o User defined additional addresses, phones and emails
o Address use identifiers
- International
o Information concerning international students including visa,
expiration dates, birth country, citizenship country, etc required
for SEVIS reporting
- Medical Information
- Activity Information
