ESD is making great progress on the development of Apecs.NET and
Discovery.NET. These are exciting times here at ESD and the following
are some of the highlights.
Finance is being installed at multiple sites in March and April.
After data conversion and training, these sites will go live on
or before July 1 2005.
HR/Payroll
is scheduled to be completed in late April and will be ready to
go live July 1. A batch process was also programmed to update
the Payroll's General Ledger postings into the new Finance system.
This will insure that the new GL has all transactions and is complete.
This is important because it gives you the option to convert finance
first and then Payroll while keeping the data in sync.
Higher Education: ESD recently signed a contract with a new customer
to go live on the HE Student system in July! Current customers
are scheduled to go live on Student in the fall. Things are really
moving forward here at ESD.
Discovery.NET is the new .NET version of Discovery and will be
completed at the end of March.
One new module that everyone is going to love is Executive Query:
a non-technical query tool that delivers powerful results. Now,
top administrators can locate key information quickly without
the hassle of learning computer commands.
This will be another exciting year at ESD, so mark your calendars
for
ANUA, July 17 - 20 in Las Vegas.
